- How do we source our cacao? We have been doing research and working with farmers directly for the past 10 years. We train them in GAP and harvest and post harvest. We make sure the beans we use are sustainably grown. Therefore our supply chain is really short and we work directly with farmers in Peru. - We Are Organic, Though Not Certified. Our cacao grows in remote lands far from cities or roads — untouched by industrial agriculture. Harvesting it is an adventure in itself, and certification is challenging since the process must be done in another language and requires access to these isolated regions.
